Chalet Overview

Chalet Cardamines is conveniently located close to the Doron piste which runs down to La Chaudanne and is ideal for skiers wishing to get started early in the morning. The Morel chairlift is also just a short walk down hill in the opposite direction.

The chalet is finished to a high standard, with clever use of local wood and stone and is light and spacious inside. The open plan lounge and dining room has a log fireplace and a large balcony with outdoor seating.

The good size comfortable bedrooms all have en suite facilities and many also have a balcony. There is a sauna and an outdoor hot tub to help sooth those tired muscles at the end of the day.

If you wish to try out the famous night life of Méribel then it is just a 10 minutes’ walk or a short ride on the free ski bus which runs until midnight.

The owners have recently refurbished the chalet with an extended lounge and dining area on the first floor, new boot room and an outdoor hot tub. All the bedrooms and bathrooms will be upgraded and the chalet will now sleep 14-17 with no bedrooms now on the first floor’

Meals in Chalet Cardamines, Meribel

DINNER IN CHALETS
A tasty and innovative, freshly cooked dinner will be prepared for you six nights per week by your Chalet Host – or by an experienced and professional chef in our larger chalets – and served with a choice of wines. Our four-course adult-only chalet dinners start with canapés and an apéritif, followed by an appetiser, main course and dessert, and completed by coffee with chocolates to round off your evening. Your choice of complimentary quality wines is unlimited during the meal service, and freshly chilled water is also of course always available.

CHILDREN’S HIGH TEA
In Chalets and Chalet Hotels with family guests, High Tea provides children under 13 years with a healthy menu, tailored more towards children’s tastes and puréed food is available for infants on request. High Tea is at 5.30pm, and children do not join the main adult-only dinner.

ADULTS DINING WITH CHILDREN
Families who have booked the entire chalet may choose to eat separately (High Tea at 5:30pm) or all dine together at the later adult dinner time if children who have received a child discount pay the meal upgrade charge of £39 at the time of booking only.
