Châtel is a charming village with an authentic center and sprawling suburbs. After a day of skiing it’s nice to relax in Châtel in one of the many restaurants, bars and / or nightclubs.

Central chalet village with real après-ski!
The elevator to the sunny Super Châtel ski area starts from the centre of Châtel. Here, beginners and children have a great time and practice. For the most interesting ski slopes, you can take the skibus to Plaine Dranse, departing within walking distance of the chalet. This lift takes you directly to the ski area Portes du Soleil.

Chalet
This ski chalet is next to our chalet Alpaca, in the centre of Châtel, so perfectly situated within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the elevators. This chalet is simple but very atmospheric and very suitable for small groups.

Ski area
Skiing here is a transnational happening because the slopes near Châtel are almost within Switzerland. Châtel is part of the fabulous Portes du Soleil. More than 220 lifts open 650 kilometres, with numerous possibilities. Less experienced and advanced skiers can wander days and make trips to places like Morgins, Avoriaz and Champery, from France to Switzerland and vice versa. The best skiers can find one of the steepest slopes of the Alps (the wall) in Pas de Chavanette and from the Pointe de Mosette a pretty lonely mountain which can have pristine snow. In short, an excellent ski area!

Offered with this catered chalets is the possibility to get professional daycare offering access several experienced babysitters stationed in the Alps. When you book daycare with as part of the holiday the babysitter will take care of your kids in your own chalet. She'll play games with them and make sure the kids have just as much fun as their parents.

One of our catered chalets is specially equipped for children. This is chalet Erlifeld in Ehrwald. It has a seperate children playroom and all the safety features a child-friendly chalet needs. While you are skiing, your children play in the nursery, 4 mornings and 1 full day per week. Just wait who has the best stories to tell when you get home!
