Après ski in Cortina d'Ampezzo

The après ski on offer in Cortina is not the loud and in your face type do après ski that you get in the big Austrian and French ski resorts. There are plenty of bars in the town to keep you busy but there are no piste-side umbrella bars with loud music and people dancing on tables. It is all about fine wining and fine dining in Cortina. Some of the on-mountain restaurants serve up some fantastic food. Once you have done days skiing plus eaten and drank to your heart's content during the day it is off home for a good feed and so,e more wine before heading out later on in the evening to hit a few bars and maybe even end up in one of the late-night piano bars.

Cortina Apres Ski 

Besides the unique nightlife, Cortina is unique in many other ways as well. One of these unique aspects is the number of fur shops that you see a couple with the number if people that you see out and about warring all manner of animal skins. Like it or detest it, it is definitely something that you do not see in all ski resorts. There is also a whole array of other shops to be found as well along with the crown jewel being the La Cooperativa di Cortina. It classes itself as "not just a department store" but rather "the emblems of Cortina".
