La Grotte du Yeti is located at the bottom of the slopes in Villeneuve has a good happy hour and later doubles up as a nightclub. The funky Loco Loco bar is in the old village and also gets very lively. The Frog is very popular with the British and the Cocoon is popular with the locals.

Eating out in Serre Chevalier

There are many well-distributed mountain restaurants; with particular note to Chalet Hotel Serre Ratier, located at the top of the cable car from Chantemerle. It has great service and delicious food. The Bivouac de la Casse is a charming chalet which offers both self-service and table service. With inside and outside seating it is a popular choice.

There is a leisure complex in the old town of Briancon complete with pools, hot tubs, sauna, and steam room. In Le Monetier there is a large thermal spa complex called Les Grand Bains perfect for tired skiers with outdoor and indoor pools. In Villeneuve, there is a cinema and outdoor ice rink.
