The après ski in Kitzbuhel is probably some of the liveliest in the Alps. The party really goes on from the moment you take your skis off to the moment the ski come up the next day. The most famous and probably busiest après ski bar is the Londoner and the Stamperl Bar which is just opposite is very popular as well. There are 3 nightclubs in the main square which are open until the early hours but there are also whole host of other late night haunts as well. The long and short of it is that is you want to ski all day and party all night then Kitzbuhel will definitely cater for your needs!
Non skiers will love the amount of activities that there are on offer in Kitzbuhel. They have all the usual favourites such as curling, ice skating, snow shoeing and tobogganing but they also have a bobsleigh run, hot air ballooning, paragliding and horse ridding. There is also a Aqurena with water-slides, sauna, Turkish bath and message available and you can also do indoor tennis and squash. If you are looking for something a bit different then You might even want to check out the Zoo.
Aside from all of the ski and non ski activities another big draw of Kitzbuhel is the cosmopolitan nature if the resort. There is load of shopping on offer from ski shops all the way to posh boutiques and small little arts and crafts shops. You name it and Kitzbuhel has it, and there is something for nearly everyone!
