The Biggest ski areas in Itlay

The Milky Way

With 400km of piste on offer it feels as if there is an almost endless amount of skiing to be had I the Milky Way. It even stretches all the way over to the French border where you can ski over to Montgenevre. The main resorts on the Italian side are Sauze d’Oulx and Sestriere and as an area it offers some of the best skiing in Europe.

The Dolomiti Superski

With 1220km of piste all covered on the one lift pass the Dolomiti Superski claims to be the biggest ski area in the world. This may well be the case but only because the lift pass covers all of the resorts in the Dolomites. However, If you are after an experience where you will be able to ski all day without hardly taking of your skies then the Sella Ronda ski Curcuit, located within the Dolomites is what you are looking for. There are about 6 or 7 major resorts that link straight into the Sella Ronda circuits as well as being a whole host of resorts that link in indirectly.
